An amity between Academia Lodge and Sarastro Lodge № 913 in Stuttgart, Germany, established in 2008 when a delegation from Sarastro visited us on the occasion of the raising of Bro∴ Sebastian Ilka. That delegation included Bro∴ Ilka's father, who is a Past Master of Sarastro, himself. At the time, a friendship was declared between our two lodges, to be signified by intervisitation when possible, and an annual sharing of papers.
Every year, Academia selects one of its best papers to send to Sarastro Lodge for the enjoyment of their brethren, and Sarastro does the same for Academia—giving the brethren of both lodges the benefits of a friendly cultural exchange.
